AJAX slide show

AJAX refers to a development approach to highly interactive Web pages, pages that appear more like stand alone applications than typical Web sites. Google maps is an example -- note that the screen changes without a delay for retrieving a new page.

This project would entail learning about AJAX and AJAX tools on your own and building a slide show presentation program in which a slide consists of a picture and some accompanying text (and audio if possible), for example, this telephone history.

This project would require application design and programming skills. Audio editing too if you add that feature. I might be able to get you a beta copy of Microsoft's forthcoming AJAX development tools.
