Microsoft downloads
Our MSDNAA download center is at: http://msdn06.e-academy.com/elms/Storefront/Home.aspx?campus=csudh_cis.
Choose the program you want, and download it to your hard drive or a flash drive. The file you download is an optical disk image, with the extension ".iso".
You must "burn" that onto a CD or DVD. You will then install the program from the disc you create.
Your computer probably came with a program to burn CD/DVDs already installed. If it did you can just double click on the .iso file and follow the prompts. (Of course you will need a blank disc).
If your computer does not have a CD/DVD burning program, you must install one, then use it to create the installation disc.
These instructions for downloading and installing MSDNAA software include links to both free and commercial disc burning software.
Finally, when you are registered with MSDNAA, you will receive an email like the one below from e-academy.com. Note that it includes your user name and password.
