If you do not already have one, open an account at Flickr.com, Yahoo's photo sharing site, and upload the original of one of our class photos. Then open an account on Picnik.com, and import the photo from your Flickr account. Finally, use the Picnik editing tools to produce an improved, 1024x768 pixel version.

Turn in before and after copies of the photo along with answers to the following questions:

  1. What is a key advantage of using Picnik over a desktop image editing program like Photoshop?
  2. What is a key drawback?
  3. What incentive do Yahoo executives have to let you copy your data from Flickr to Picnik?
