Home LAN connectivity options

This assignment will familiarize you with home LAN connectivity options. It will also give you practice working in a small group to produce a concise, well-written document using a Wiki.

I posted a short description of WiFi. It includes the speed and range of WiFi connections within a LAN.

Your assignment is to write a similar short description of one of the other LAN technologies used in homes. You will work in groups which will be assigned in class.

Write your description in the "Home LAN connectivity" document in our class Wiki. (You will have to register to use the Wiki. You can learn how to use it by editing the "What is a Wiki" document).

When your description is complete, print a copy (one copy for the group) to turn in.
