An editing example

Here is a recording of a short interview with a few sound bites from me and two others. Note that I compare the rate of Internet usage in Cuba with that of Haiti, and I speak in complete sentences.

The interview was recorded over the phone, and although only a few seconds were used, it took over five minutes. This is a portion of the original interview. The first sound bite is full of "ums" and hesitations, which were edited out in the final version. Note also that the remark about Haiti came near the end of the phone call, but the editor has moved it to the beginning. (I separated it by three seconds of silence in this excerpt).
