Write a co-authored document

We are going to write some short tutorials. If this were an English class, you would each be assigned to write a tutorial. But, this is a class in networked applications, and we are stressing applications that facilitate cooperation and collaboration, so you will write the tutorials in teams. The reader of your tutorial is an incoming CIS 275 student.

The CIS 275 students are having trouble using the MSDNAA software. Prepare a tutorial that will show them how to download and install an MSDNAA program.

Remember that this is a tutorial, not a "cookbook," so in addition to showing the mechanical steps, you should provide contextual material so they understand what they are doing.

There is a space for your team's tutorial on the class wiki. Go there and follow the link to: "Tutorials for CIS 275 students."

Befor beginning, decide how you will approach the task. You might begin with an outline, a list of points to be made, a rough draft by one member, etc. Regardless, when team members visit the page, they should do so with the intention of improving it -- of making the explanation clearer for the reader.

Don't wait till the last minute -- give yourselves time to revise, improve and polish the document. There should surely be no spelling or grammar errors.
