Comparing Google with a tag-based search

Use both del.icio.us and Google to find information on a topic you are interested in.

Use both Flckr and Google image search to find images on a topic you are interested in.

After experimenting with these tools, reflect upon the experience. Think about questions like the following:

How would you compare the tools? Was there some overlap in what the two search engines discovered? Did one lead you to more interesting material than the other? Which will you use in the future? Was one better than the other for finding people you could follow up with? Would you be willing to follow up with someone you found using a search engine? If someone contacted you regarding something you had posted, would you reply?

You don't have to answer each specifically, but use them in thinking about and comparing these search tools.

Type up a summary of your experience and conclusions to turn in.
