Creating images

One can obtain images by taking photographs, drawing, scanning or finding them on the Web. This assignment will familiarize you with each of these.
  1. Take a picture somewhere on campus -- make it an interesting picture or one that means something to you.
  2. Take a picture of yourself.
  3. Scan an image from a book, photograph, magazine, etc. (There are scanners in the computer lab).
  4. Find an interesting or meaningful image on the Web.
  5. Create an image using Microsoft Paint or some other drawing program. (This can be simple -- perhaps a logo or design if you are intimidated by drawing).
  6. Scan an image from a book, photograph, magazine, etc.
Put some energy into coming up with neat images -- you may use them in future assignments.

Print copies of your images to turn in -- combining them on one or two pages if they will fit. Indicate which one you took, scanned, drew, etc.
