Conduct a survey

Google maintains a list of catalogs of listservs at

http://www.google.com/Top/Computers/Internet/E-mail/Mailing_Lists/Directories/

Pick one that you think is interesting or useful, Subscribe to it, and also write a short note describing the list and saying why you selected it.

Post something on the list.

Turn in a copy of the email confirming your subscription and your description of the list.
