Clay Shirky: "How cellphones, Twitter, Facebook can make history"

Clay Shirky gave a talk entitled "How cellphones, Twitter, Facebook can make history," at a TED Conference in June 2009. He does a good job of placing the Internet in the context of other media -- newspapers, magazines, radio, television, etc. -- and in historical context. He also gives several examples of mass public use of the Internet in politics.
