In an earlier assignment, you wrote a blog post summarizing one of the posts on our class blog, and provided a link to it. You have had time to let what you wrote "cool off," so you can be objective in rereading it.
Reread the post on the class blog and reread your summary (out loud), looking for ways to improve it.
Think about the most important point in the post and boil your summary down to a tweet of 140 characters. Your tweet should summarize the post well enough to let a potential reader decide whether or not to read it. It should also include a link to the post. If you find yourself running over 140 characters, you can shorten the post's URL using a service like tinyurl.com, bit.ly, or is.gd.
After you post your tweet, print a copy of it to turn in.
Now that you have thought again about the original post, revise the summary you prepared for the original assignment. (Don't be afraid to throw the first summary out and rewrite it from scratch).
Post your revised summary on your blog, and print a copy of that to turn in.
Note that you should not include the post URL in your revised summary. Instead, you should create a link to it as part of a normal sentence. (Use the Blogger editor's link command).
