Conference call

This assignment must be done in groups of three or four. The purpose is to illustrate and gain experience with a synchronous collaboration application.

Download and install Skype on your home computer. After you install the program, establish your user name and profile.

Once each group member is ready, establish a conference call among all the members of your group by following these instructions.

Print out a copy of the Skype user interface during the conference call (showing each group member), and turn that in. Also write a short description of the experience, answering these questions: What went well and what were the problems? Would the service be of interest to your family? Can you see ways to use it at work? How might we use Skype in our class?
