Periodical sources of news and opinion
These are some of the main news and opinion information sources I use for CIS471. They are categorized, but most can be delivered in more than one way. For example, I prefer to receive several of the weekly trade publications in print, but could read them and their columnists online. Many of these resources also publish RSS feeds or email summaries of new posts. The podcasts are great for time-shifting -- listen while driving or exercising.
You will not like all of these, so you might sample one or two a week and continue following the ones you find interesting. Perhaps start with Network World, InfoWorld, and a column or blog.
