SWS accounts

Each student has an account on sws.csudh.edu. That machine is primarily used as a Web server for students.

You will add material to your Web site by FTPing it to your directory on sws.csudh.edu.

Your directory name is the same as your user name. It is taken from the Toronet active directory server that controls authentication when you log in the student labs, so you should login as:

toronet\<your user name>

For example, mine is:

toronet\lpress

Your password is the same as the one you use for Campus Pipeline.

The URL of your Web site will be:

http://sws.csudh.edu/<your user name>

For example, mine is:

http://sws.csudh.edu/lpress

A Web client pointed to your URL with no file name specified will retrieve and display your index.htm page.
