GIF Play

An animated GIF file contains a series of GIF images and a table showing the time they will be displayed. I found this image on the Web, but there are many programs for making animated GIFs.
I made this logo with the Microsoft Paint program. It is a standard GIF image.
This is the same image, with the yellow area specified as transparent, allowing the white background to show through. Nearly all image processing programs can make transparent GIFs.
Animated GIFs can also have transparent backgrounds
This is a one-pixel, transparent GIF. It can be used to fill an empty cell in a table or create a rectangular space using the height and width attributes of the img tag.
This is a one-pixel, black GIF. It can be used to create a rectangular shape of a given size. This one is 50 pixels square.
